Today, more than 15,000 students are studying at University "Goce Delchev"-Shtip.
In order to facilitate and improve the accommodation conditions for students, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science and Government of the Republic of Macedonia in 2012 First Private Student Dormitory "HILJADNIKOV"-Shtip was founded.
The facility was completely renovated in 2016 and has a total capacity of 60 beds for domestic students.

Since University "Goce Delchev"-Shtip has expanded its program for international students such as the Erasmus+ program with European partner universities, the "Hiljadnikov" Student Dormitory has expanded its capacity with several more apartments specifically intended for international students.
